World Tour of Music: The Music of Leonard Bernstein

This concert will celebrate one of America’s great musical legends, Leonard Bernstein on the 100th anniversary of his birth. Composer, conductor, scholar, activist, Bernstein was truly a citizen of the world. This concert will feature a selection from his catalog of great compositions including well-known titles such as West Side Story & Candide, to lesser known gems such as Mass and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Led from the piano by Steven Gross and featuring a quartet of acclaimed singers and chorus, this event will include historical and anecdotal recollections, multi-media footage, plus much more to honor this iconic American artist who through his work helped create “The Best of All Possible Worlds.”
