James Renner is a crime writer and investigative journalist whose books include Amy: My Search for Her Killer, True Crime Addict, The Man from Primrose Lane and The Great Forgetting. He is also the founder of The Porchlight Project, a nonprofit that raises money for new DNA testing of cold cases in Ohio.
