Visit the Smithsonian Museum, home to The Throne of the Third Heaven by James Hampton, from Medina Library! From beads to bottle caps, tinfoil to toys, artists have used many nontraditional materials to express themselves and create art. This interactive video-conference covers how artists use everyday materials, vision and imagination, storytelling, and a sense of place.
This event is intended for students in grades 3-12.
Due to the Smithsonian's guidelines regarding video-conferences we are unable to provide web links to view the session outside of the library.
